THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF NANCY NANCY is a four-part mini-series focussing on various people living on Waratah Island, whose lives are changed by the arrival of a mysterious stranger who commits a home invasion. A neurotic couple find their home invaded one quiet night by a controlling yet oddly maternal by Nancy Nancy. Powerless to resist, Nancy Nancy keeps them hostage, forcing them to commit one bizarre act after another, bending them to his/her sadistic will until they submit totally to his/her dominion. But what is the method to Nancy Nancy’s madness? Where is he/she from? And are his/her stories of  prisons and  murder true?  Meanwhile the town’s iconic roast chicken shop “The Chookery Nook”, run by the Greek widower Katina is facing closure. The island ranger fears for the welfare of his mistress, while his wife begin to slowly crack up as her personality disorder takes hold of her. Nancy Nancy brings her American partner, Di'Mario to town, who is just as mysterious as she, as a final piece to this absurd jigsaw puzzle.
