Mondo Maniacs is a short series of about two maniacs on the run.​

   On the 15th January 2007, two patients escaped from a psychiatric ward and began committing bizarre crimes around the countryside while they searched for a home. 

They robbed Op shops and milk bars with garden tools, and mugged people in parks with salad tongs.

 

Starring Maxine Klibingaitis 

as the fragile diabetic Mondo and Tim Burns

as her maniacal and bitchy accomplice.

Special guests stars include Elspeth Ballantyne and Reylene Pearce.
