The gang from Boronia are back with an all new adventure! After spending years saving, Darren and Kane, two thirty something trash & treasure salesmen finally get to backpack their way through the world. Kane wants to visit every Olympic city, while Darren wants to see all the historic landmarks. The forty something girlfriends they have left behind decide it's time to do the same. Commencing their trip in Amsterdam and staying in a "Bong Hostel" in the red light district, the boys from Boronia eventually travel through twenty different cities including Rome, Barcelona, Cairo, Athens, Berlin and Stockholm and are confronted with a number of backpacking adventures. In episode I of BORONIA BACKPACKERS, Kane and Darren arrive in Amsterdam. They stumble across the red light district, make the most of the coffee shops, paddle around the canals and nightclubs often filming everything with their old video camera. Back in Boronia, Deb and Caz start brewing up their own ideas about saving up money to backpack, while Kane’s Mum, Maxine and her old cell mate Nola start brewing their own grog.
Episode Two - "Christmas In Helsinki" Kane and Darren find themselves in Helsinki to have a white Christmas, but the minus zero weather doesn’t agree with them. Back in Boronia Deb stuffs a chicken for Christmas lunch with her sister Tania. In Athens the boys order souvlaki's and in Rome they decide to dress up a bit. But on a night out at the tourist clubs in Trastevere, they meet two Italian chicks who have other ideas.
In episode three of “Boronia Backpackers”, Maxine and Nola's home brew is ready and Kane is stricken with alcoholic poisoning in Budapest. Deb calls Darren with a big surprise! But are the boys ready for the exciting news?!
In the fourth episode of Boronia Backpackers, "Chockers in Stockers", Darren and Kane arrive in Stockholm and stay at a cute hostel on Gamla stan, where they start to write music and songs. But in Brussels they hear some devastating news. Will this mean the end of their backpacking adventure?
